Job Description
We’re supporting our client, a global provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, who are looking for a Program Manager to join their team based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The successful Program Manager will bring a strong background in program/project management, particularly within high-precision metal and plastic manufacturing environments. This is a full-time, direct hire role with significant customer-facing responsibility and cross-functional coordination.
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal departments (engineering, procurement, supply chain).
- Manage cross-functional teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and full product lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate and schedule pilot and pre-production builds.
- Establish program timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Lead customer program reviews and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Collaborate with quoting and costing teams to define and develop accurate proposals.
- Ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated and implemented, including support for PPAP and inspection protocols.
- Monitor program performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in program/project management in a manufacturing setting.
- Background in metal stamping, plastics, or contract manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, quality standards, and production processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and ERP systems.
- PMP certification is desirable.
