We’re supporting our client, a global, leading injection moulding manufacturer with multiple facilities across the UK, who are looking for a Sales Manager to join their growing team. The successful Sales Manager will have a manufacturing sales background, as well as significant experience in a senior sales management role.
Responsibilities for Sales Manager:
- Responsible for the effective management and development of new sales.
- Achieve high customer service levels by meeting quality, delivery and cost objectives.
- To participate in all site leadership activities e.g. planning, ERP, Six Sigma, 5s, etc.
- Support growth initiatives by launching new products on time.
- To develop a can-do attitude to customer requests
- To meet customer requirements.
- Maintain Sales KPI’s for the whole site.
- Report to the GM monthly with KPI information which includes customer visit reports, potential sales forecasts etc
- Work with the GM to develop new business and new customers
- Ability to react quickly to changes which will affect KPI targets.
- Assist with Management of NPI’s to maximise return and minimise delays.
About You:
- Manufacturing Sales background in plastic part sales into Engineering companies.
- Proven People Management skills.
- Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.
- Innovative Approach to Problem Solving.
- Enthusiastic and Self-motivated.
- Decisive and assertive.
- Able to cope under pressure.
- Excellent organisational/time management skills.
- PC Literate
- Significant experience in a senior sales management role for at least 5 years. Selling small precision parts
- Knowledge of polymers and machinery requirements to be able to communicate at all levels.
- Injection moulding sales
- Familiarity with a low and high-volume production.
