After a long wait, the first big social event of year is here!!
The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber Business Awards, an annual event hosted by the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce. This year Willcox Matthews Recruitment Ltd has been selected as a finalist for the Micro Business of the Year category! Being one of the finalists of this award is an enormous honour in itself, as there has been a large influx in applications for this year’s awards.
The awards are to be held on Thursday 2nd September 2021 and will be at the University of Worcester Arena. As the event is Black Tie, the team has had to dust off our glad rags and squeeze ourselves back into them!! This also translates as the majority of our team being on their best behaviour – we shall have to see if that actually happens!
2020-21 is shaping up to be one of our best years yet, so this will be an amazing opportunity for the team to really let their hair down and celebrate our success. The Directors are very proud to have the company nominated, as this shows off the company’s hard work over the past year and how much the company is growing and developing. The nomination supports and boosts the Directors ideas and goals for the company for the next 12 months.
This will be the first event that we have attended since the world re opened, and it will also be the first event where we can celebrate with our new recruits, Georgie & Adam! At the event, it will provide our team with a good opportunity to network amongst the other companies that are attending and hopefully present ourselves and other companies with a few new opportunities.
We are incredible excited to see what the night brings (more so the After Party!) and cannot wait to see the results of the award! We wish all the other nominees the best of luck and are so looking forward to seeing you all!
