Interplas 2021
‘Interplas is the UK’s leading plastics industry event and an exciting showcase for the manufacturing processes, technologies, and services essential to the plastics sector.
In its 70th year, Interplas 2021 will see more than 400 exhibitors present solutions, products, machines, and ideas from across the entire spectrum of moulding and forming machines as well as materials, automation, contract manufacturing and supporting technologies including software, testing, inspection, surface treatments and much more.’
On 28th September 2021, the recruiters within our team went to the Interplas 2021 event at the NEC Birmingham. This is a very exciting as it will be one of the first client events since the world has started to re-open!
It was interesting to see how the event was run with Covid-19 regulations in place. The team felt very secure and were still able to fully immerse themselves into the event.
At this event they were be able to ‘see the entire spectrum of moulding and forming machines in action as well as materials, automation, contract manufacturing and supporting technologies including software, testing, inspection, surface treatments and much more’.
By going to Interplas 2021 it helps our team keep up to date with the industry that we work with. The team will be able to keep their knowledge top notch so that they can do their job to the best of their ability.
The event enabled our team to get out and meet people face to face, which is what they are best at. They were able to meet with old and new clients, making deeper relationships with our partners and colleagues, making up for the lost time over the last year. The event is a huge networking opportunity.
The team were invited to an afterparty hosted Mouldshop so there are a few sore heads in the office this morning, but don’t worry, a greasy spoon breakfast has been ordered and is on it’s way!!
